An additional covered company is any bank holding company
or any foreign bank or company that is a bank holding company or is
treated as a bank holding company under section 8(a) of the International
Banking Act of 1978 (12 U.S.C. 3106(a)) that is:
(a) Identified
as a category II banking organization pursuant to section 252.5 of
this title;
(b) Identified as a category III banking organization
pursuant to section 252.5 of this title; or
(c) Made subject
to this part by order of the Board.
